Navigating the Cicero Platform

Learn how to navigate the Cicero platform.

Platform Structure​

Cicero consists of three main applications:

Education PortalBrowse courses, watch content, earn certificates
Information SystemManage staff, compliance, and clinic operations
MarketplaceBrowse and order dental supplies

Common Interface Elements​

Top Navigation Bar​

Left Side:

  • Logo (click to return to homepage)
  • Main navigation links

Right Side:

  • Cart icon (in E-Shop)
  • Profile menu
  • Context switcher (clinic/supplier selection)

Profile Menu​

Click your profile icon to access:

  • Profile settings
  • Switch context (if multiple clinics)
  • Sign out

The search bar is always visible at the top. Type to search across:

  • Content titles
  • Educators
  • Categories

The sidebar provides access to clinic features:

Clinic Switcher​

If you belong to multiple clinics:

  1. Click the clinic selector in the header
  2. Choose a different clinic
  3. The interface updates to that clinic's data

Cart​

The cart icon in the header shows:

  • Number of items in cart
  • Click to view and manage cart

Mobile Experience​

On mobile devices:

  • Bottom navigation for main sections
  • Hamburger menu for additional options
  • Swipe gestures for carousels
  • Touch-optimized controls

Most pages show breadcrumb navigation at the top:

  • Shows your current location
  • Click any level to navigate back
  • Example: Marketplace > Categories > Restorative

Multi-Language Support​

Cicero supports multiple languages:

  • English, Spanish, German, French, Italian
  • Czech, Slovak, Polish, Arabic

Changing Language​

  1. Go to your Profile
  2. Open the General tab
  3. Select your preferred language
  4. Save changes
  5. The interface reloads in your language
