Wishlist

Save and manage products you're interested in for future purchase.

Overview

The Wishlist allows you to save products you'd like to purchase later. It's shared across your clinic team, making it easy to collaborate on purchasing decisions.


Accessing Your Wishlist

From Navigation

  • Navigate to Wishlist in the sidebar menu
  • View all saved items for your clinic

From Product Pages

  • Click the heart icon on any product
  • Product is added to your wishlist

Adding Items to Wishlist

From Product Cards

  1. Find a product while browsing
  2. Click the heart icon on the product card
  3. Product is added to your wishlist

From Product Detail Page

  1. Open the product detail page
  2. Click Add to Wishlist
  3. Product is saved for later

Duplicate Items

  • Adding an existing item updates the quantity
  • You can adjust quantities after adding

Viewing Your Wishlist

Wishlist Page

The wishlist displays:

  • Header: Title with heart icon
  • Remove All Button: Clear entire wishlist
  • Item List: All saved products

Item Information

Each wishlist item shows:

  • Product Image: Thumbnail
  • Product Title: Name (clickable to product page)
  • MPN: Manufacturer part number
  • Stock Status: In stock indicator
  • Manufacturer: Brand name
  • Added By: Team member who added the item

Managing Wishlist Items

Adjusting Quantity

Each item has quantity controls:

  • Minus Button (-): Decrease quantity
  • Plus Button (+): Increase quantity
  • Input Field: Type exact quantity

Quantity changes are saved automatically.

Removing Items

Individual Items

  1. Click Remove on the item
  2. Item is immediately removed

Remove All Items

  1. Click Remove All in the header
  2. All items are cleared from wishlist

Adding to Cart from Wishlist

Show Suppliers

When you're ready to purchase:

  1. Click Show Suppliers on a wishlist item
  2. A modal appears with available suppliers

Supplier Selection Modal

The modal shows:

  • List of suppliers carrying this product
  • Price per supplier
  • Stock availability
  • Delivery information

Completing the Add

  1. Select your preferred supplier
  2. Confirm or adjust quantity
  3. Click Add to Cart
  4. Item moves from wishlist to cart

Team Collaboration

Shared Wishlist

The wishlist is shared across your clinic:

  • All team members see the same wishlist
  • See who added each item
  • Collaborate on purchasing decisions

Visibility

  • Added By field shows who saved the item
  • Useful for discussing purchases
  • Coordinate with team on priorities

Wishlist Permissions

Access depends on your role:

Without View Wishlist permission:

  • You cannot access the wishlist page
  • You'll be redirected to homepage

Without Edit Wishlist permission:

  • You can view items
  • Cannot add, remove, or modify

Clinic Context

Clinic Selection

The wishlist requires a clinic context:

  • Select your clinic from the dropdown
  • Each clinic has its own wishlist
  • Items are specific to the selected clinic

No Clinic Selected

If no clinic is selected:

  • Clinic selection prompt appears
  • Select a clinic to continue
  • Wishlist loads for that clinic

Empty Wishlist

When your wishlist is empty:

  • Friendly empty state message
  • Heart icon illustration
  • Link to continue shopping
  • Encourages product discovery

Tips and Best Practices

Organizing Purchases

  • Use wishlist to collect items before ordering
  • Discuss items with team before checkout
  • Prioritize based on urgency

Regular Review

  • Review wishlist periodically
  • Remove items no longer needed
  • Add to cart when ready

Team Communication

  • Note who added each item
  • Discuss large purchases
  • Coordinate on quantities

Troubleshooting

Cannot Add to Wishlist

  • Check Edit Wishlist permission
  • Ensure you're logged in
  • Verify clinic is selected

Items Not Saving

  • Check internet connection
  • Refresh the page
  • Try adding again

Cannot See Wishlist

  • Verify View Wishlist permission
  • Select a clinic context
  • Contact administrator if needed
