Participants (Platform Only)
Manage your platform team members and educators.

This feature is only available for Platform educator accounts. Individual educators use Referrals instead.
Overview
The Participants page allows platform owners and administrators to manage team members who can create content, manage the platform, and access various features based on their roles.
Accessing Participants
- Enter the Educator Console
- Click Participants in the sidebar
- View your team members
Participant Types
Members Tab
Team members with administrative roles:
- Owners
- Administrators
- Managers
These users can manage the platform but may or may not create content.
Educators Tab
Content creators on your platform:
- Create and publish content
- Manage their own content
- Limited administrative access
Roles and Permissions
Owner
Full access to everything:
- All content management
- Team management
- Payment configuration
- Platform settings
- Cannot be removed
Admin
Near-full access:
- All content management
- Team management (except owners)
- Payment configuration
- Platform settings
Manager
Content-focused access:
- View and manage content
- View analytics
- Cannot manage team
- Cannot change settings
Educator
Content creation only:
- Create and manage own content
- View own analytics
- No team or settings access
Inviting Participants
How to Invite
- Click Invite button
- Enter participant's email
- Select their role
- Click Send Invitation
Invitation Process
- Invitation Sent: Email sent to participant
- Pending: Waiting for acceptance
- Accepted: User joins platform
- Active: Full access granted

Managing Participants
Viewing Participant Details
Click on a participant to see:
- Name and email
- Role and status
- Join date
- Activity summary
Changing Roles
- Click on participant
- Select new role
- Confirm change
- Participant notified
Restrictions:
- Owners can only be changed by other owners
- Cannot demote yourself if you're the only owner
Removing Participants
- Click on participant
- Click Remove
- Confirm removal
- Participant loses access
What Happens:
- Immediate access revocation
- Content remains on platform
- Can be re-invited later
Participant Status
| Status | Description |

| Active | Full access, currently active |
| Pending | Invitation sent, not yet accepted |
| Inactive | Account paused or suspended |

Best Practices
Team Structure
- Have at least 2 owners for redundancy
- Use managers for content oversight
- Limit admin access to trusted team
- Use educator role for content-only creators

- Regularly audit team members
- Remove inactive participants
- Review roles periodically
- Monitor new content

- Send welcome message with invitation
- Provide training resources

Troubleshooting
Invitation Not Received
- Check spam/junk folder
- Verify email address
- Resend invitation
- Try different email
Cannot Change Role
- Check your own permissions
- Verify you have higher role
- Cannot change own role to lower
- Contact platform owner
Access Issues After Invite
- User must click invitation link
- Must create/sign in to account
- Clear browser cache
- Try incognito mode
