Referrals (Individual Only)

Earn by referring other educators to the platform.

This feature is only available for Individual educator accounts. Platform educators use Participants instead.

Overview​

The Referral program allows individual educators to earn commissions by inviting other dental professionals to become educators on Cicero. When your referrals make sales, you earn a percentage.

Accessing Referrals​

  1. Enter the Educator Console
  2. Click Referrals in the sidebar
  3. View your referral program

How Referrals Work​

The Referral Process​

  1. You Invite - Send referral link to potential educators
  2. They Sign Up - They register using your referral link
  3. They Create Content - They publish educational content
  4. They Earn - When they make sales
  5. You Earn - Receive referral commission

Commission Structure​

When your referral makes a sale:

  • They receive their standard educator share
  • You receive a referral bonus percentage
  • Commission paid automatically

Inviting Referrals​

How to Invite​

  1. Click Invite Referral button
  2. Enter the person's email address
  3. Click Send Invitation

What They Receive​

The invited person receives:

  • Email invitation with your referral link
  • Information about becoming an educator
  • Direct link to sign up

Invitation Tracking​

View all invitations in the referrals table:

  • Email sent to
  • Date sent
  • Current status

  • Check they've made sales

Terms and Conditions​

Eligibility​

  • Must be active educator
  • Account in good standing
  • Referral must be new user

Commission Rules​

  • Paid on net sales only
  • Subject to refund adjustments
  • Minimum payout thresholds apply
  • Paid with regular earnings
